I am a digital design teacher in Portland, Oregon.  My artistic background and upbringing began at Northwest Nazarene Univerity [College when I attended], where I was exposed to a small group of very powerful artists, and during this time I found my way to collage and I guess I never found my way out.  My work since has been based on the loose compositional rules of collage construction.  As I moved through my career, I taught drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, but I consistently worked as a graphic designer [extra cash the motivator].  And now my work is graphic centered, either handmade collage, screenprint, or digital collage and I find comfort and the perfect platforms for my aesthetic.  Now that I am a full-time digital design teacher I wonder why it took me so long to get here!
